FDO History
Farmers Development Organization (FDO) was established in 1998 as a non-profit and non-governmental public interest organization which is registered with Social Welfare Department under voluntary Social Welfare Agencies, Registration & Control Ordinance 1961. In 2014 FDO converted int a Not-for-profit Company as a PCP certified and public interest entity, registered under Section 42 of the “Companies Act 2017 (formerly 'Companies Ordinance 1984')”.
FDO is considered amongst the prominent organizations due to its strenuous efforts, unparalleled activism and a passion for making an Impact, in Southern Punjab. FDO has substantial history of two decades by uplifting the communities and made them aware, educated, empowered, employed, and socially engaged ever since we intervened in the areas. FDO has implemented numerous participatory approach-based projects to benefiting thousands of men, women and children to empower them socially and economically for sustainable development.
