Theme-IV: Disaster Risk Reduction for Building Resilience among Local Communities (DRR)

Geographical Coverage: District Bahawalpur Programme Duration: 2023-2024 About the Project: PPAF funded project aims to provide emergency relief assistance to the flood affected communities of District Bahawalpur. In this project, the beneficiaries shall be provided with winterized kits, Non-food items (NFIs) and health and hygiene kits. Main objective of the project was; is to provide protection assistance to flood- affected targeted households and address their immediate social needs, with a particular focus on vulnerable and marginalized groups, such as women and disabled-headed households during a short-term relief phase. Key Highlights under Project:

  • Awareness raising session were conducted with 927 HH
  • Winterized kit was distributed among 927 beneficiaries
  • Nonfood items were distributed among 927 beneficiaries
